If Jagex had asked players about EoC we'd have probably got dual wielding, the ability things like emotes and thing dropping and then a slower development from that point. If at all. These things would have made for a happier place at the moment. I believe that it's crazy that Jagex refuses to ask players what they need. It's like they can't handle change unless they restrain it. In which case, the most recent pursuit seems apt. Brink of Extinction.
The economy is down because a lot of gamers have recently stop playing. This means there is a lot of items like rocktails, sharks, ore, pubs, armour, etc. . sport and not enough people buying them, so the purchase price of the things mentioned are still crashing. A lot of armour has crashed because of this, however they will eventually balance out.One of the greatest things Jagex can do would be to remove the majority of the teleports in the sport, or create them quite a bit more difficult to use beyond fundamental hub teleportation. Second, it might do nicely to significantly increase the dimensions of almost everything. The more wild lands there can be, the longer we would feel immersed in the dream world where we are the adventurers who travel from the height of civilisation into the insides of badlands.
Inevitably, using a correctly large draw space the small size of this map will be obvious. A few key changes jagex could make to alleviate that: Reshape mountain ranges. Making them feel more realistic and making rivers and so on stream well from them could be massive in making the map more credible. Make the woods enormous. Truly, much bigger. This includes swamps etc.. Making them bigger the further from civilisation we go would make those areas feel much more crazy.
